Binding not showing when doing manual add

Hi Everybody

After I install my binding in OH 4.0.4 I can add a thing via the thing configuration file, but when I go to
the GUI “Setting->Things” and push the plus button to add a thing manually my binding is not listed.
It was working in OH 3 did something change regarding this ?
Or any other suggestions why that maybe ?

I am testing with a fresh install of OH4.

Did you adopt it to run on openHAB 4 ?
The dave been some structural changes in the code (e.g. addon.xml instead of binding.xml)

I think so, but cannot really check as I am not home actually…

The binding to add-on adoption fixed the issue.
