Bindings and servlet

Is it possible/allowed for a binding to register a servlet?

The reason is i have devices which allow to register a callback-url
to post device-state changes.

You might be able to register the REST API URL for one of your Items and, if necessary use a rule to parse out the value. Beyond that I can’t answer.
