Once in a while devices/bindings/Things go offline, and stay offline. That’s inconvenient. For this reason I monitor most of the stuff I have integrated into my openHAB system.
The CromeCast devices don’t play well along, quite often they go offline for a couple seconds, and then reconnect, and everything is fine again.
Had to improve the monitoring, and use a timer to figure out if the device stays offline.
