Bosch door/window contact II zigbee working?

Hi everyone,

Have any of you got a Bosch Door/Window contact II working with your favorite Zigbee coordiantor?

I’m using SONOFF Zigbee 3.0 USB Dongle Plus V2 on OpenHAB 4.1.1 and I cannot get it to complete device discovery, even though it get visible when scanning :expressionless:

Hi, do you have a Bosch Smart Home Controller as well? In this case you can use the boschshc binding and communicate via the controller.

I have never tried direct Zigbee connections. But I’m not sure whether door/window contacts are Zigbee devices at all. The reason is that other Bosch Zigbee devices have the following ID prefix: hdm:ZigBee:000d6f001..., but the door/window contacts have another ID prefix: hdm:HomeMaticIP:3014F711A.... Not sure if only the names are misleading, but maybe this could mean that the connection is not established via Zigbee but some IP-based protocol.

I managed to get it to work. I overlooked the need for registering the install code as described in the zigbee2mqtt guide: https://www.zigbee2mqtt.io/devices/BSEN-C2.html#pairing
