Can binding scan work via remote access?

For openhab cloud, I have tested control command (On/OFF) is working. Specifically, I can turn on/off hue lamp.

However, I have done binding scan on openhab server side, NOT through openhab cloud server via remote access.

I do NOT find some info at the official DOC.


Not sure whether via remote access, binding scan can works as well.
Does anybody have some idea about that or where to look for info? Thanks a lot.

That depends on the setup of the openHAB cloud you used. There is a parameter “Mode” which could be :
Notification: Only push notifications are enabled, no remote access is allowed.
Remote: Push notifications and remote access are enabled.
Optional, default is ‘remote’.
