I use the z-wave binding and want to set a direct association between two devices. In the interface of the sending devic,e I can set the association to the receiving device fine. At least it looks fine when i “Save”. But the association is not there when I re-enter the sending device’s Item again.
And I may sometimes get a “Pending” notification, that never goes away in the interface. Actually, I have never been able to set up an association in this installation of OpenHab and the z-wave binding.
Yes, sorry. They are both mains powered, in the same room (5m apart) and I have gotten the same association to work previously using a different controller (not in openHAB). So it should work, but the association is not set.
The sender is a fibaro single switch, with two buttons hooked up. Trying to insert a qubino roller shutter into the group receiving a binary on/off state so that the shutter will open / close from the button at the z-wave layer. Works perfectly in othe rooms where I set the association in z-way. Now that I imported the network in openHAB, no luck setting it up. Hate to install z-way again just to set up an association.
Need to check if the roller shutter in the OH DB has basic linked to the open close, for one. The other option at this point is to put the binding in debug, try adding the shutter node into the fibaro group with basic commands and see what is going on. Could use the DB debug reader at the link above
