The MQTT version have a bug that only known way right now is to reflash. That’s what I did and it now works.
How did you connect the esphome? I just flashed that version and once it’S flashed, it doesn’t ask anything on the gui to configure, it’s just there. How do I configure mqtt or other stuff? Or have it show in openhab?
I just replaced our myq with the TailWind iQ3.
I was looking for a something I dod not have to build myself and that offered local control with an open API and this does the trick.
I’ve been using the iQ3 on a two-door garage for 2 months, no issues with the operation. Has a mobile app, can control the garage with other devices, can link with pretty much every automation system.
I also wrote a binding for this controller, its posted it on the Marketplace for others that are interested in the TailWind but don’t want to monkey around with coding their own rules/scripts.
