Changing Tasmota Settings for openHAB

Ok, you’ve loaded Tasmota onto your ESP8266 device and want to change some settings. How do you do it?

The first thing you need to do is log in to the device’s IP address. This can be found by looking in your router for connected devices or I use Advanced Port Scanner which is a free program to see what is on your network. Once you log in to your device, (ex: 192.168.1.xxx), it will bring you to the main screen. Here is where you can configure your device with your network connections, sensor connections, MQTT connections and more.

Next click on the Console button. This will display the Tasmota command prompt along with the MQTT data stream.

In the Enter command box is where you enter the commands to make changes to the different Tasmmota settings. Here is a listing of the settings you can change in Tasmota.

I hope this will help you get your ESP8266 setup and running with Tasmota!!
