I am using the Modbus-Lambda binding in openhab since a while and I am quite happy with it.
Recently I realized that a particular channel (Index 5 / data point 07: Target Flow Temperature / Heating circuit) is not available in the respective thing definition. A closer look to Github “bundles/org.openhab.binding.modbus.lambda/src/main/resources/OH-INF/thing/heating-circuit-thing-types.xml” reveals that the channel “heating-circuit-target-temperature-flow-line” is defined in line 59, however close to line 156 the cannel definition seems to be missing.
@chilobo: Since this is your code: Can you confirm my assessment and is there any plan to add the respective lines of code? I am happy to open a PR but do not want to do it without your consent.
I believe that “bundles/org.openhab.binding.modbus.lambda/src/main/java/org/openhab/binding/modbus/lambda/internal/handler/HeatingCircuitHandler.java” will require modification, too. There, however, is already some code implemented (line 494 + 495) which is currently commented out.
I would be happy to receive some feedback on my thoughts from whoever might be using this binding. Any suggestion on how to proceed is highly welcome.
