Chart not working - Exception

Hello,

with the upgrade to the version 20180902 (2.4.0-SNAPSHOT / Build #1347) I get the following exception when opening a chart in Basic UI:

Thereby the charts are working in Habmin AND Influx and RRD4J are up and working. In the browser I don’t see a chart but just the.following:

54

I suppose it’s t do with the upgrade that I just performed before that. Anybody got an idea how to solve that issue?

Downgrading to an earlier version does not solve the problem :frowning: is there any advice, what the missing “chart provider” is and whether I need to somehow reinstall it if it got lost?

Sounds weird. Could you check if you see the “Charts” menu in the Paper UI under Configuration->System?
This menu is shown when the default chart provider is up and running - which it should normally be.

Hello @Kai

I downgraded via apt-get to the version of August, 25th and charts are now working again.

The charts menu was though present in the September version, as I looked there first whether it would appear.
