In Openhab 3 how can I configure a default output mapping for an Item? I for example have a Point for the state of a Window Sensor and want that converted to German everywhere, this includes Sitemaps but also the new OH3 UI.
There is no way to do this for everything all at once. You can create a .map file and use the MAP transformation in the Item’s Label and State Description metadata and then apply that to each Item individually.
