Correct equipment? Beginner question

Hello,

i have a KNX System im my house.
I have the MDT IP Interface to set up the actors and sensors via ETS. The IP Interface is connected to a switch and the switch is conneted to a FritzBox 7590.

Can I put the raspberry (with openhab) also to the switch to realise the connection to my KNX system? Or do I need any more technical equipment in my electrical cabinet to run the raspberry with openhab?

Theoretically you should be good to go since Router <=> KNX <=> RaspberryPi are all in the same network.

Actually the IP interface is configured as DHCP.

To use the raspberry, is it neccessary to give the IP interface an fixed IP adress?

And also the raspberry?
