same issue here with 2 devices (3 are working properly).
that’s totally crazy. I’ve tried almost everything … nothing 
I’m not an Openhab user but I face exactly the same issue with Domoticz/Zwave JS UI/MQTT. Recently I migrated from Open Zwave to Zwave JS UI and since then I face the problem described in this topic. Did you mange to get around the E5 error?
