Discovery of Milight device

I have almost no command line experience - but hopeing to learn

I’m 3 hours into getting a Pi3 installing openhabian and trying to configure.
I 've got the Milight wifi device workign over wifi on my network

I’m struggling to “find” my Milight Thing when I search for things.
I’ve tried adding the binding manually and adding the thing. they just say un-initialised.

Also I do get a lot of this type of error:
[ERROR] [core.karaf.internal.FeatureInstaller] - Failed installing ‘openhab-binding-heatmiser1’: Error

ALSO. I can’t seem to access the hab panel via the hostname I can only do http://192.168.0.24:8080/
and not http://openHABianPi:8080 - Any ideas? on why that would be
