I just got a technician who proposed me the Dobiss home automation system (Dobiss.com). It seems promising and they already have existing integrations with IFTTT and HA. They have also published their API with examples. Google AI stated that there would already be a custom openHAB binding in the community, but I guess it was halucinating again because I didn’t find any trace of it on the openHAB site. Does someone have any information about this ?
Well I did not mention about an addon because it doesn’t exist but just wanted to point out they use a raspberry pi inside by now they moved one to nxp cip or something I don’t remember. Anyways as an electrician I can tell you if your plan is to integrate system like dobiss Niko qbus domintell etc the Belgian market is huge into openhab without any programming background is better to stick to their offering in terms of automation integration etc. Otherwise if your goal is to specifically use openhab then look first what add-ons exist in openhab and how mature stable they are before investing into any system and remember when “you control you support”.
