Documentation for Item- and DateTime-Methods

Hello community,

I started with openHAB2 one week ago and now searching for a good documentation about usable methods (e. g. for items and the integrated DateTime-Class). Looks like it is not the original Java-Class, but modified. Searched in the docs and with google, but nothing suitable found.

Can somebody help?
