Doorbird, is it any good?

I am in the middle of a home renovation and came across Open Hab and now looking to install DoorBird IP Video Door Station D2101V but have seen mixed reviews about it in terms of quality and lag. Can anyone who has this one or a similar one let me know if they are happy with it.

Does the intergration with open hab allow the doorbird to be viewed and answered using 2 way voice inside the hab panel or do you still need to use the native doorbird app?

Important Update: The binding was merged into to the openHAB distribution today, Oct 17. It should be available in a snapshot release after build 1728, as well as the next milestone release. We made several changes to the binding throughout the review process: The restart and sipHangup channels were removed.
