Just installed the 1.10.0 version of this binding, and ran it on my Windows 7 machine (running on a VirtualBox). It cannot find the COM port which actually is a virtual port mapped towards a Moxa Nport serial server. If I run putty on the COM port, I can communicate with the electrical meter, so I’m wondering if this binding ‘only’ supports physical ports?
If you enable debug logging, you should see a list of the ports that are autodetected.
The binding relies on the gnu.io package, so I would think whatever that package supports should also work here.
