Duplicate XMPP messages

Hi Everyone,

I’m using the XMPP addon for notifications and remote control of my OpenHAB instance. When I send commands via XMPP I get the response message twice in my client. This doesn’t appear to happen with notifications sent via the sendXMPP action.

Any idea why this is happening? The client in question is Conversations on Android and the server is Ejabberd. OH version is 1.7.1.

I have the same issue here. Messages send by my rules are OK and I receive only one message. But if I chat with my openhab sever (send and update etc.) I get multiple answers. It seems to get worse over time. Now after 22 days running of opanhab I get 23 reply messages each time - but I haven’t figured out a real pattern.
Any idea how to fix this?
