I’m a bit lost with this EKEY stuff so I am hoping someone can throw some light on it.
I have installed the EKEY binding and default items. These items only show NULL.

Raspberry Pi 4
openHAB: 3.2.0.M4 - Milestone Build
EKEY: CP WM 3 with LAN converter.

The EKEY converter LAN has IP address 192.168.1.3

So, if I understand this correctly, the Converter LAN is transmitting on port 58004 and the Raspberry PI 4 (and openHAB) is seeing this.

On the EKEY converter LAN screen I cannot set the UDP data transfer Tx and Rx ports to 58004. When I save, it reverts to 58018.

I can receive data from EKEY and log it on my PC on 192.168.1.10

Can anyone see what is amiss here? Thanks!

If I get you right, you cannot set the port on CV LAN to the port configured in openHAB ?

This is your issue then, both ports need to be identical. Please try a different combination then.

Just wondering what packet is shown in the log. Did you set loglevel to trace ? Then you should see more info from the packet parser…

I really thought I had tried every combination of ports - I was not getting a log entry unless I set the Port to 58004 on openHAB but I just tried 58018 and got RARE data back so thanks!

I just need to sort out the mapping now!

Thanks for all your work with this. I’ve got a pretty old EKEY system but it seems to work now with openHAB.
