Hi there, I just got my first OpenHAB server running to see, if it works for me. I started with the EnphaseBinding. http://192.168.1.134:8080/addons/binding/binding-enphase
But I can’t get it started and did not find useful information for setting it up.
So it start’s up and is detecting the envoy. But I can’t login and is stuck with Status Code:200.
I just found other information, that enphase restricted the access in the last months.
So just as a sanity check: Is this still working, so that I’m just doing it wrong?
I’ve got good and bad news. I ignored it for a while and tried on last time. And it was just working after reboot. It’s now online and I can retrieve some values.
So - I’m sorry, it’s just me.
You are lucky. Enphase is switching the API with a firmware update. When that happens, this will break. You can find some more info here: [New Binding] Enphase Envoy Solar System gateway - #151 by jswim788
If you have it working now, I would be tempted to block the Enphase Envoy’s access to the internet to keep it working. Unfortunately their app won’t get updates if you do that. I have no idea if/when they will upgrade all customers or not. It seems to be random as to when this upgrade is pushed out.
After their firmware “upgrade” I had to open a support ticket to get access again. Once I did that I was able to get data from the Envoy via a Python script as mentioned in the above post.
