Have a quick question following my successful upgrade from OH2.5 to OH3…
I have some Fibaro double switch modules which control 2 lights - one is inside and one outside… If I Create Equipment from Thing from within my “Indoor” Location and select the channel to add the inside light, then Create Equipment from Thing from within my “outdoor” Location to add the outside light channel the whole thing moves to that new Location. Should I be creating “Points” rather than “Equipment”?
What’s recommended? Can an Item/Equipment/Point be in multiple Locations?
Should I be adding the outside light switch Point to the “outdoor” Location and the inside light switch Point to my “indoor” Location rather than trying to add Equipment?
What am I missing?
