"Error when removing entry: Server error"

    • Hardware: (virtual machine) AMD Opteron 2nd Generation/4 GByte RAM/128 GByte HD
    • OS: Xubuntu 22.04 DesktopLTS
    • Java Runtime Environment: OpenJAVA 17
    • openHAB version: 3.2
  • Issue of the topic:
    I installed the “Epson Projector Binding” to control my ceiling mounted beamer and created an " Epson Projector"-thing manually. But something went wrong and I want to delete this thing because it always appears into the inbox when opening the inbox and it’s unusable for me due to the error.
    But if I select the thing and chose “remove” from the dropdown menu, I always get the error removing entry: Server error".
    How can I remove/delete this thing?

Did you try to

  • use the karaf console to remove the thing ?
  • use the API explorer to remove the thing ?
  • remove the binding ?
  • use Java 11 instead of Java 17 ?

using the karaf console on the inbox entry seemed to worked :slight_smile:
