ESP Buderus KM271

I have a Buderus Logomatic and bought one of these PCBs to get the values out of it.

It was reveresed engeneered from themole:

The PCB works great and dewenni has written a MQTT Fw for it which im running - also it exist a ESPHome FW.

The question is now how to implement the PCB in OpenHab its more easy in ESPHome or by MQTT.

MQTT has these values:

MQTT commands (write)

With the following commands, you can control your Logamatic.
There are commands for changing the operation mode and also commands to chage parameters 
like setpoint temperatures

I dont know how could I add it in OpenHab - also im new to ESPHome but i think its possible.
