Configuration Parameters:

  • Last Charge (kWh): Item tracking the last charging session.

  • EV Consumption (kWh/100km): Your electric vehicle’s efficiency.

  • Combustion Consumption (L/100km): Reference fuel consumption of your previous car.

Why use it? It provides immediate feedback on your transition to e-mobility, turning technical data (kWh) into easy-to-understand ecological savings (liters of fuel not burned).

I think it should be noted that the number (“saving” etc.) is just fantasy. There are so many factors that decide how much a combustion engine consumes that anything you pick from a “reference table” has very little to do with anything. And, if you’re concerned with “carbon savings”, you should also factor in how the electricity you charge is produced.

But, I guess that to make you “feel good” it might be beneficial.

Well, I’m not concerned with CO2 savings. And thank you for worrying about how the energy is generated: in my case, the electric car is charged using surplus power.
Anyhow, I compared my specific consumption values for both vehicles based on my average driving profile. So I am not picking something from a “reference table”, don´t know what’s your point with this posting. Not everything has to be viewed from a scientific perspective. -But I am open to constructive suggestions for improvement.
