Did anyone ever try to expose some openHab items to SmartThings? I’m using openHab as a central system in my smart home. While the sitemaps and openHab-app are pretty useful, the direct access of items in a native Samsung phone cannot be beaten.
Therefore, I thought if it’s somehow possible to expose a limited set of items to SmartThings, so that I could control them natively in my Samsung phone.
I guess you can go through the implementation of BobRak’s OpenHAB-Smartthings. By creating virtual devices in SmartThings, you can build the mapping from openHAB items to SmartThings device attributes.
