Fibaro FGS223 and Zipato Association Groups

Hey;

First of all… Happy new Year and all the best wishes for you and your family…

I have a strange problem which drives me crazy and i dont know if this is not possible at all… or if i do something wrong…

I have a Fibaro FGS223 double switch (node 5) (no wires at the outputs, only a momentary switch as input) and a Zipato RGBW bulb (node 7) and i want to switch the bulb on by pressing the S2 on the FGS223… this can be achieved via Association Groups… but its not working…

In the FGS config parameters i selected for Group 4+5 the Node7 (Bulb) also did wait a couple of ours… did restarts and so on… but can get the bulb to lighten up…
So I deleted the Node7 and tried with some other node… f.e. node6 Endpoint 1 and this is working as it should…

Anyone know why its not working with the Bulb?

In the MainUI Thing Config i noticed that after a couple of minutes there is no association group visible (see image) but in the YAML code it still is…

here is also a screenshot of current zwave network:

BTW, what does the dashed lines mean?

I appreciate any kind of help… I’m aware that i can achieve that also with a OH rule… but also want to have this association group working…

Please let me know if you nee further assistance or log files…

Thanks
/Holger

Association Groups permit the device to communicate without openHAB. I never use them.

I switch my “Zipato RGBW Bulb V2” on/off from a “HAC01 in-wall remote” via association group - and it works.

Best regards,
Gert

Hey Gert,

Are you running on OH3? and therefore did you managed the association groups via MainUI?

Yes, OH3.

But, I just realize that the association to the bulb (node 56) is not shown in the UI!

I did set the association a long time ago in pre-OH3 times and never changed it since.

Greetings,
Gert
