Fibaro FGSD-002 firmware update and black box?

I’ve connected several Fibaro FGSD-002 smoke detectors to my OpenHAB and I have some question about the device:

  1. In the manual of the device and on the Fibaro website is a feature named “black box” described which seams to send a smoke intensity value over zwave when an alarm is triggered. I found no examples on how to get these values with OpenHAB. Is this even possible with obenhab or just with the Fibaro HomeCenter?

  2. It seams to be possible to update the firmware of the device, but Fibaro doesn’t provide an update tool that works with my usb z-stick. Is it possible to upgrade the Firmware without the Fibaro HomeCenter?
