my use case is I have a FritzBox running in a remote place, which can either use the WAN connection (LTE in my case) or the backup LAN connection to a second FritzBox.
I’d like to activate and deactivate the WAN connection - using the tr-064 at best.
Is this doable?
That should be possible. After adding the tr064 binding, you should see a WAN Thing which has a “DSL Enable” switch where you might be able to control the WAN connection.
Unfortunately is this channel either connected to “real” DSL (using LTE here) - or readonly. Turning that channel OFF doesn’t disconnect the FritzBox from LTE
