Getting started with Rules editor

I am running HABmin 0.1.6 on raspberry PI.
The rules editor just does not seem to work at all. If I select an item, the dropdown to select one gives the options of ‘item, rename variable, new variable’. I was hoping that it would list my items !
Any help most appreciated !

You must use Habmin 2 with openHAB 2.

OK, I think it’s Habmin 2, in add-ons I have org.openhab.ui.habmin_2.0.0.SNAPSHOT-0.1.6.jar
