Hi Alll,

Has anyone used these RS485 controlled wall switches? In terms of controlling via Openhab, is it just the binding and some kind of PC to RS485 adapter needed? WHilst I can see there are a few USB to RS485 adapters I assume to use a stack of these switches you’d need some kind of USB to multiple channel RS485? Something like tihs

Take it you mean Black Nova?
No experience, says they work in KNX or Modbus, both of which are well supported in openHAB but will require tech knowledge and manual configuration on your part.

RS-485 is a physical wiring spec for a serial bus. Many devices are interlinked using daisy chain connected cabling.
