Google Assistant and Homekit: Lights not showing up and cannot pair in Google Assistant

  • Platform information:
    • Hardware: Raspberry PI 3B+
    • OS: Raspbian
    • Java Runtime Environment: openjdk version “11.0.3-BellSoft” 2019-04-16
    • openHAB version: openHAB 2.4.0 Release Build
  • Issue of the topic:
    My Hue Light dont appear in HomeKit or Google Assistant.
    I managed to pair the OpenHab Instance to my Homekit and google. The Dummy Switch shows but the other one (Deckenfluter) don’t show up.

I´ve put a dummy switch to try it out, that seems to work.

Switch Dummy "test" [ "Switchable" ]

deckenfluter.items

Switch deckenfluterLight "Deckenfluter" ["Lightning"] {channel="hue:0200:00212E042A46:1:color", alexa="Switchable"}

Try a space between the brackets…might help

Still not working :frowning: I think its the Channel causing this behaviour, altough it shouldnt.

It turns out, that the Tag Switchable is working on the Lamp, but the Tag Lightning isn´t.
Any Ideas why?

Yes. the Ligthing tag is wrong spelled.
Its [ “Ligthing” ], not [ “Ligthning” ] - You´re not the first person to do this mistake :slight_smile:

Thank you, its working.
