Anyone else notice that Google Speech to Text is now in public beta? The quality is better then IBM Watson or other stuff I have used.
Are there any good resources you’d recommend for making use of it? I’m using android devices to send voice commands, but would love to implement an always listen on a RPi.
What I like about using Google Speach vs Alexa is that you have a lot more control.

Nathan, can this be easily setup to work in OpenHAB. I currently run OpenHAB on a raspberry pi which has a Bluetooth adapter. I would like OpenHAB to speak messages on my Amazon Echo(which is connected by Bluetooth to speakers throughout my home) . I still use OpenHAB 1.8.
