I don’t think that this has been released yet, and googling turns up very little, but does anyone know if this is Z-Wave, ZigBee, or something else? I have a couple of ceiling fans that I’d definitely like to get under the control of OpenHAB and am not quite sure yet what the best way to do it is.

Looks like it is ZigBee based on a SmartThings posting headline (couldn’t get the actual site to come up). Can’t say for sure though.

Is this the SmartThings posting you’re referring to?

Yes, I couldn’t get it to come up and it was the closest thing I could find that says anything about any fan controller that is wink compatible.

This appears to be available at Home Depot now. Anyone bought one of these and attempted to use it with OH and a zigbee dongle?
