Hi,
I’m being using the homeconnect binding for some time to control my washer, dryer and disherwasher. My setup allows me to start them automatically when I have enough solar generated power to run them.
My dryer recently died, so I got a replacement … a Bosch WQH246DRIE.
It connects OK in the app; I see it in Openhab.
However, the dryer turns off after 30 minutes - my old one didn’t do this.
What I used to do was:
- Set the drying program I wanted.
- Press Remote start
- Some time later Openhab would start the dryer based on solar power available.
What happens now is:
- Set the drying program I wanted.
- Press Remote Start
- The Dryer turns off and forgets the selected program.
I can turn the dryer on, and select the program from the home connect app, as well as the API.
The channel power_state does not appear in the dryer thing.
What I think I need to do is:
- Set the drying program I want
- Press remote start
- Openhab to record/note the drying program selected.
- When the solar power is available:
- Turn on the dryer
- set the program to the previously noted version.
Is there a way to turn on the dryer without the power_state channel (such as programmatically getting access to the bearer toke).
Or is there a much simpler way?
Thank you.
