@yfre hi, do we have a possibility to add doorbell into the homekit binding? First of all the questions is if homekit has such acessory (i think yes) because there is few doorbels with homekit on the market.
The second one how to configure a stream/alarm on ringing. i am using hikvision doorbells and it is possible to get all the information we need plus two way audio and video stream (it’s feasible - i saw such integration using sdk which homeassitant)
It will be great to start such integration
I’ve adapted the code used by HA folks to work in my case to detect ringing, and also to stop ringing.
The IP Camera binding can be used to record video from the doorbell.
My doorbell uses DS-KD8003-IME1 and DS-KH6320-WTE1
but it’s not exposed via homekit yes?
It’s not a problem to pull the data, stream etc to openhab, but i am not using openhab gui at all, only homekit addon so i wonder if this is possible
