i will to integrate the MiBoxer WL-box1 gateway as a thing in openhab using the milight binding. But it seems that this new WiFi Gateway is not supported by the binding. Has anybody a solution for this.
Thanks

That version is over a year old and you may want to upgrade to the latest stable version which is 2.5. With the new version and it’s new bindings your gateway may work just fine.
If you do not want to upgrade then maybe an updated binding might work.
Place the jar file (do not use 3.0 version) in usr/share/openhab2/addons and see if it will work on OH 2.4 Don’t forget to uninstall the current binding first.
Hi,
it looks like the api has changed. I think a the miilight binding must be updatet. The new api is cloud based not local network based.
Other smarthome solutions has the same problem.
I found this forum entry:
using free software developed by people in their free time, but then expecting frequent updates. its open source so you could adapt the binding. Or at least provide the needed API specs so someone capable could pick it up.
