How to configure venetian blinds for Qubino ZMNHCD1

I’m newcomer to Openhab2. I have installed a z-wave Qubino flush shutter (ZMNHCD1) module for my outdoor venetian blinds. I have the correct binding with the Qubino module, i.e. two seperate endpoints in the node.xml.
I’m confused how to configure openhab2 things and items,to get the best experience in the control panel.
What is the best category / type in the item configuration?
Is it possible to combine both the level the slat as a single item?
