I wonder if this link could also help, or is it superfluous? It should not be needed as smarthomej should be stock on openhab 5.0 milestone 2.
So following the instructions in the first hyperlink, it follows:
A. Add a project and enter your credentials
-this is done on iot.tuya.com, I have “Access ID/Client ID” and “Access Secret/Client Secret”
I’m pretty certain snarthomej is not stock. It’s a third party marketplace and while the main developer and maintenance is a key OH contributor, smarthomej is not affiliated with OH.
Follow the instructions on the second link to add smarthomej as the json 3rd party add-on.
is recommended to add https://download.smarthomej.org/addons.json as JSON 3rd Party Addon Service in the settings. Afterwards all addons can be installed from the UI.
Good news the tuya from smarthomej is stock on openhab 5.0 milestone 2.
And bad news, once more I am stocked somewhere in the process of implementing it in the main UI of openhab. I will be restless until my death. ; )
Is there some error log within the main UI of openhab? (ok now)
answer:
It should be in the last openhab.log.X.gz of the /home/fl/openhab/userdata/logs/ folder in the case of an openhab docker installation.
Maybe I should write to smarthomej on github.
The android phone app will give you the wrong ip address of a device, but the right mac address:
tuya app of android phone > multifunction alarm (or device) > pen icon (up right) > device info
ip address (wrong)
mac address (right one)
To get the ip address of a tuya device, use the mac address of the tuya android app. You will find on your router with the mac address of the device what is ip address of that device.
