Http error 500

So… to reply to myself… I found this post:

Server Error / 500 with openhab2

all of a sudden, I cannot connect to the root of my openhab2 web server. I have installed by apt. I am unsure how to troubleshoot, but here are the errors in openhab.log. Any ideas? regarding the same problem. And doing an upgrade of the installation seems to have fixed my issue.
