Hi,
I try to change the effect on my Hue lightstrips but the effect does not change.
I just click on the item and change it and the log shows that the value is changed but the lightstrip does not change.
Does anyone else have the same problem?

What version of OH are you using? And if you are using OH v4.x then are you using API v1 or API v2 things?

I made another test. Everytime I stop and restart the binding it works once.
Can you please log:set TRACE org.openhab.binding.hue and post the log file?

The log after 08:40:46 shows that the binding received three ‘on’ commands from OpenHAB; however there is no record of it receiving an ‘effects’ command from OpenHAB.
When you say ‘it doesn’t work’ can you please be more specific about what you are doing, what result you expect to see, and what you actually see.
