Hue Emulation 3.0.0 with openHAB 3 didn’t find any items from Amazon Alexa in my installation.
I have a fresh openHAB 3 installation und integrated all ITEMS und THINGS files from my openHAB 2.5.x installation. I have read the documentation here: openHAB Hue Emulation - System Integrations | openHAB (I’m not sure about the right steps).
Hue Emulation with Amazon Alexa did not work on my openHAB 3 installation. In the Alexa-App no items were discovered from openHAB 3.
Is there a best practice how to switch from openHAB 2 to openHAB 3 with Hue Emulation and Amazon Alexa?
I have also tested with this SNAPSHOT 23.01.2021 - Getting Hue emulation working with Alexa again - #13 by MikeJMajor (I’ll get the same error).
In the debug-mode from Hue Emulation I did not found any problems.
I’ll have installed openHAB 3 under port 8080 (the same port on openHAB 2.5.x)
If I call http://IP/api/status, I’ll get this:
To access any links you need be in pairing mode!

16:EE:27:85: ist not the whole ID from the bridge! - I’m not sure if this is a problem …
On openHAB 3 I’ll get “service not registered” on openHAB 2 “registered”.
When I switch back to openHAB 2.5.x it works fine and new items wer discovered.
I have not installed NGINX. Is it needed for openHAB 3?
Should I do my next tests with Hue Emulation 3.0.0 or Snapshot 3.1.0?
Is there a “Tutorial” what steps I can do?
Thanks for your help!
