I am setting up my hue white lights and would like a switch to simply turn them on to 100% then off. The problem is, when I dim the lights, turn them off, then back on, the light returns to the previous dimmed value. It looks like I can write a rule and “command” the light to full brightness - no problem. Is there an easier way to do this?
Your lights will return to the previous brightness by design. IMHO the easiest way to force full brightness is to build a rule that is triggered when you switch the light on.
