iCalender authentication method

Hello,

A while ago I received a message from microsoft that basic authentication support will end on september 16th.
I have looked into this and found that this will have impact on my integrations.
One is the use of the iCalender binding.

As far I can see, also in OH4.2, still only basic authentication is supported.
Will there be an update being release before the 16th which will include an update to support oauth2?
Or does have anyone an suggestions for a workaround?

Regards,
Edwin

With regard to the icalendar binding I would suggest to open a ticket on github to request support for the required authentication method.

With regard to basic authentication is being used for OH service: this is independent of microsofts announced changes.

I really have no how that works with GitHub to be honest.
I found something about icalendar, but I think this is more a general thing, not specific the icalendar binding for OH.

Hi,
I‘m also having issues with the authentication of the iCalendar binding.

Therefore I’ve filed a feature request on GitHub

Regards
Andy
