iCloud binding, authentication problem

No, I hadn’t. I have as a fallback owntracks with mqtt via VPN.

I’ve tried to use owntracks, but there is not way to persist the app to do be closed. I mean everytime you close your apps it will close. I woudl like to find a way to persist it somehow be always open

Do you know if somebody is maintaining the iCloud binding besides of @maihacke? He seems to be offline in this community since February.

I saw an update on pycloud regarding authentication. Currently the latest binding version seem to work for me and I didn‘t see a reason to react. I could check if there we’re breaking changes, but currently I‘m a bit busy and this will take some time.

Did it work for you? What should I do on openhab?

Hello

I would also be happy if it can be solved. For me it fills the camera disks :grinning: :grinning:

I did a rough check. Apple changed the authentication scheme for iCloud, so the current implementation of the OH iclolud binding is not working. I think it would be possible for me to adopt the icloud binding to the new scheme, but this will take sometime. Currently I do not see any workaround.

Am working with OH 3.4.5 and have the same issue since a reboot yesterday. If you have a fix, it would be great if you could also provide as .jar running on 3.4.5.

does openhab binding use pyicloud?

No, it does not, but I used it to see hoe authentication in iCloud works. Pyiclpud was also affected by the change in icloud. Problem is that the new version of pyicloud and other do not work for me, so currently I habe no working example.

Does this helps you? A not merged py cloud change?
