To be honest, I think this is really difficult to achieve, as there are many different ways to connect a energy meter (smartmeter).
I have already published rule templates for doing calculations based on a meter Item value and a widget to show those.
But a said, there is no general meter thing.
You can have meters delivering the correct value, sometimes you just get pulse counters and have to build the meter value from that.
But feel free to open a new topic, describe a bit more detailed what you would like to see (have) and we csn check, what‘s feasable.
