Ikea Trådfri with Xiaomi Gateway

Hi,

I’m looking for a way to connect Ikea Trådfri lamps to Openhab via the Xiaomi Gateway. I have my lamps connected in the Mi app but I cannot find them in openhab?

Any solution?

Found this post on google, I’m in the exact same boat and hoping for some good answers.
Although I haven’t managed to pair my bulbs yet.
How did you go along with doing that?

Just change to the chinese server and you should be ready to go. Just note you need the bulbs to be fairly close to the gateway

I have my Ikea Trådfri bulbs associated with xiaomi mihome, but openHAB does not appear …
Any suggestions?

Hello everybody,

I have exactly the same problem. I add some Ikea Tradfri bulbs to my existing Xiaomi gateways and that work well with the Xiaomi app.

I know there is a Tradfri binding for OH, but I do not want to buy and operate another gateway type.

So, is there a way to connect the Ikea Tradfri bulbs to OH via Xiaomi Gateway / Binding?

Found this on Google. Unfortunately I don’t have a solution, but in my case the lamps do show up as ‘Unsupported Xiaomi MiHome Device’. But no control options.

I get the following channels:

Last Heartbeat Message
String

Last Read Acknowledgement Message
String

Last Write Acknowledgement Message
String

Last Raw Message
String

Last Command Parameters
String
