iL03_1 Lowes Iris V3 SmartPlug - Trouble Binding

  • Platform information:
    • Raspbery Pi 4
    • Hardware: _Broadcom BCM2711, Quad core Cortex-A72 (ARM v8) 64-bit SoC/4GB/Micro SD Card
    • OS: OpenHabian 10.1
    • Java Runtime Environment: openjdk version “1.8.0_282”
    • openHAB version: 2.5.12
  • Issue of the topic: I am having difficulty getting the iL03_1 Lowes iris V3 SmartPlug to bind
  • Zigbee coordinator: generic CC2531 coordinator

I came across a couple of these devices Iris smartplug devices. They are the 3rd version. (horizontal orientation, model iL03_1) I’ve read that these are Zigbee 1.2 compliant devices and that they work with SmartThings, so I believe they do not have a proprietary profile (but I have no idea really)

I’m having difficulty getting them to pair. I’m not sure what logs would be most helpful to include, but would be happy to provide any that would be helpful.

I do have several Zigbee lightbulbs connected and working so i believe I have the Zigbee coordinator working properly.

Has anyone had any luck with these or can anyone offer any advice?

Thank you for the pointers. I have read those. One of them actually recommends the iL03 devices, but neither give any pointers on actually getting them to work .
