I have an iPhone 16 with iOS 18.5 and actual OpenHAB App. I Updated from iPhone 11, Same OS.
After 2 days now iOS App always crashes on scrolling the sitemap. As I don’t See and crashreport, and as everything worked fine last days, I have no idea where to search
Anyone and idea?
I’m having the same issue, iPhone 16 with IOS18.5.
I’m using site maps only, app works most of the time but on a few occasions it crash’s on startup. Killing the app and launching again does not solve the problem, even a restart of the phone. Eventually it will work problem occurs both within the local network and from outside.
I had some additional tries, going in the settings and clear all caches solves the issue yet.
@domparisi Mayen you try that too? Webcache and Cache for pictures
I cleared the web cache but not the image cache. I will try both next time the problem occurs.
The same here - iphone 16 pro, ios 18.6.2. Clearing cache does not help

Yes. Does not help.
It worked ok on iphone 12 mini with ios 18.5.
I found some workarround: After starting openhab app I go quickly to Menu→Home. Then quit home. Then it works for some time.
Hm, I need to scroll down to crash. Maybe you have an icon top of the Sitemap
Seems to be a problem with iphone 16 ios? 1 or 2 random icons are also displayed incorrectly. All was ok with iphone 12 mini
OK. I have done some testing. I have created the same sitemap with no icons and the second with only internal opehnab icons.
The sitemap without icons does not crash on iphone 16 pro ios 18.6.2
the sitemap with system icons only crases but less frequently.
My conclusion is → there is a problem with icon rendering. Am I right?
I did some testing: changing item type from png to svg looks (at least temporarily) like a wax too
I had svg only. In my case does not matter svg or png - crashes sooner or later. Only no icons no crash
