Hi all

openHAB 5.1.3

IoS App latest tesflight version

I am using the Apple IoS in multiple installations and while testing the Shortcuts functionality found that the “Get Item State” does not allow the retrieval of the State of a group.

Also in shortcuts, there does not seem to be an option to retrieve the displayState of an item.

Thats great news @timbms and the ability to access the displayState should i raise a separate issue?

access to displayState is implemented in Expose displayState in Get Item State Shortcuts intent by timbms · Pull Request #1235 · openhab/openhab-ios · GitHub.

Hi @timbms

i am running the testflight version 3.4.25

I have a few items and the widgets are not pulling the full displayState in one its retreiving the raw state and another only the first part of a string field which the first part happens to be a number.

Happy to log another issue if needed or wait for this patche to be included or provide more info as needed

The initial widget i created now works as expected - thank you for the hard work.

@timbms when i have this testflight version installed i get the header bar and then a gap in which part of the page of the MainUI page i am editing the next part of the menu.

The page i am editing scrolls behind menu(Design / Code) header. I don’t want to assume its exp3cted in testflight version, it does not happen in released version and only on ipad (both ios 26 and ios 27 on ipad M5) and only when editing a page. I have put two screenshots to show the page scrolling underneath this header.

Hi @timbms

i was going to open a new one and went to get the screenshots and saw a new testflight version (previous i had was 3.4.26 (322j with the screen misaligned)) the problem appears resolved in 3.4.27 - will watch out though and log if i see it again.
